Sarah Bavar RN, BSN

Director

Sarah is a former nurse turned clinical informatics professional that leverages her time in the clinical setting to improve the quality of data within healthcare systems. Using her extensive clinical experience, Sarah is dedicated to improving patient care by enhancing the quality of patient data for clinicians and providers. Sarah collaborates with several teams at ReMedi, including leadership, data migration, chronic care management, and health policy. Sarah’s leadership and direction as a nurse play an integral role in improving the adoption of the EHR.

Jennifer Hamilton, MHA, RN, CPHIMS

Executive Vice President

Jenn is a driven healthcare leader with a focus on clinical strategy, informatics, and enterprise technology. Formerly an ER nurse, Jenn has over a decade of experience working directly with healthcare executives on EMR implementation and optimization projects. Having served in several roles within the clinical setting including Nurse, EHR Program Director, and Clinical Strategist, Jenn is passionate about improving the safety and well-being of patients and playing an instrumental role in the development and completion of EHR/EMR systems. At ReMedi, Jenn helps organizations assess operations at every level, and designs and develops change strategies that improve the delivery of healthcare. Her past engagements include Advocate Healthcare, University of Illinois Hospital, University of South Alabama, Southwest General Hospital, and Steward Healthcare.

Marilee Kwon

Human Resources

Marilee has over seven years of experience working in recruiting, onboarding, and human resources, and also obtained a masters degree in Organizational Psychology. With a background in healthcare, Marilee supports ReMedi talent at all stages of the employee experience. Her goal is to optimize the experience for all ReMedi resources, ensuring a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Andrew Su

Director of Strategic Resourcing

Andrew has over 12 years of experience working directly with healthcare executives on EMR implementation and optimization projects. Having served in several IT roles as Cutover Manager, Project Manager, Lead, and Analyst, Andrew leverages his comprehensive EHR experience and a background in the clinical EHR setting to identify and place strategic EHR professionals on ReMedi projects. He holds Epic certifications in Ambulatory, Security, Orders Transmittal and MyChart.

Alec Dwaik, MD

Vice President

Alec Dwaik, MD is a Physician Executive and Clinical Informaticist with over a decade of experience working with electronic health record (EHR) implementation and optimization. Alec’s experience includes supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), specifically leading areas of chronic care management (CCM), annual wellness visits (AWV), and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC). Previously, Alec collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team to implement education strategies and organizational change management approaches for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Cerner Millennium implementation. As a trained informaticist and former clinician, Alec effectively communicates the use of the EHR ensuring providers learn essential EHR knowledge that improves the quality of care, clinical workflow efficiency, and fiscal sustainability for health care institutions. At ReMedi, Alec directly supports hospital leadership, ensuring smooth transitions and optimizations towards becoming fully integrated health information systems.

Roberto Barbieri, MBA

Director of IT & Security

Roberto served on the finance and data team for a medical company in Latin America before pursuing his MBA. Throughout his career, Roberto has leveraged data tools and technologies such as SQL, SAP, and Tableau. With this foundation, Roberto supports ReMedi’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the company meets industry best practices and data standards.

Shabanam Ali, RN, BSN

Director

Shabanam served as a registered nurse for 7 years and has a background in psychiatric nursing with experience as a case manager. She has worked for multiple managed care organizations through Medicaid and eventually found her way into nurse informatics. Currently, Shabanam is the Director responsible for auditing patient charts and assisting with recruitment and training for ReMedi’s data abstraction service line.

Paul Grewal

Director Of Operations

Paul is a strategic thinking and innovative leader with a proven track record for guiding and leading high performing unionized and non-unionized teams across a variety of disciplines, ranging from Healthcare IT, Physician Strategy, to Consulting in the Aerospace and Energy arena. His genuine and hands-on approach to leadership drives organizations to deliver results through ongoing process improvements, forward thinking changes, budget management, and executive reporting. Paul is fueled by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for developing people. He is core to the success of people management at the company, fostering long-term relationships and leading all aspects of operations.

Sonny Hyare, MD

Sonny is a seasoned healthcare executive with over ten years of consulting experience, advising major health systems on all aspects of electronic health record (EHR) systems. After serving as a Medical Director and Physician Executive for over a decade, he founded ReMedi with the core belief that EHRs have the potential to optimize clinical workflows and physician output. Sonny leads the company’s mission to develop and implement impactful EHR solutions for physicians and hospital partners, and stewards healthcare executives in making key decisions that prioritize stakeholders and benefit the future of healthcare.

Rajeeb Khatua, MD

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Khatua is an established physician executive leader with over 15 years of experience in Healthcare IT. He served as System Chief Medical Information Officer between 2016 to 2020 for the largest public health system in the country at New York City Health + Hospitals. He provided leadership for the Epic implementation, ongoing development, advancement, and optimization of clinical systems and technology that impact patient safety & quality of care throughout the health system of 11 acute care facilities and over 60 ambulatory centers. He also served as Regional Chief Medical Information Officer for Northwell providing leadership for the Central region over three hospitals. Dr. Khatua was a Medical Director at Optum and served as the physician lead in their first OptumCare National Epic Implementation. In addition to the leadership roles, Dr. Khatua has vast experience in EHR implementation and optimizations in over twenty health systems across the country.

Scott is a passionate healthcare and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the IT and healthcare world. Scott’s leadership and client stewardship ensure that our teams deliver strategic, innovative, and quality service that leads to greater outcomes across the entire continuum of care. Scott has diverse experience in health IT, including point of care solutions, patient engagement products, and other healthcare categories.

Carola Quintero Perrin, MD

Director

Carola practiced as a clinician before entering into the field of clinical informatics. Her background in providing patient care across a diverse population and age range gives her the ability to connect with healthcare professionals and develop improved data quality protocols and processes. Carola manages a variety EHR projects and leads the daily operations of ReMedi’s teams, including training and development of clinical analysts, chart abstraction, quality assurance, and planning & administration.

Jasdeep Mann

Director Of Marketing & Strategy

Jasdeep brings over eight years of experience in managing and leading strategic projects, including in digital marketing, R&D, and brand strategy. Jasdeep’s interest in technology led him to healthcare IT, where he now leads the company’s online presence, industry partnerships, copywriting, and graphics. He also plays a strategic role in the company’s innovation and new solution development.

Stephanie Erwin, RN

Director Of Recruiting

After practicing as a Registered Nurse for seven years, Stephanie transitioned into the Health IT world. She now has a proven track record of over nine years of effectively streamlining EHR implementation processes for major health systems. Stephanie has cultivated a reputation for optimizing workflows for the healthcare industry. She is passionate about identifying, recruiting, and on-boarding top-tier talent and guiding team members to meet demanding deadlines while surpassing quality and performance targets. At ReMedi, Stephanie is focused on building and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients and vendors, and supporting company objectives using a people-focused approach.

Carlos Alvarez

Director

Carlos leads the company’s public sector practice, maintaining state and local certifications, government relations, and ensures ReMedi is up to date with pertinent state and county laws. Carlos also engages with healthcare partners on a variety of EHR projects including implementations, data migration, optimization, and beyond. Carlos has comprehensive EHR experience and a background of over ten years in the clinical EHR setting. He holds Epic certifications in Ambulatory and OpTime/Anesthesia.

GP Hyare

Managing Director

GP is a passionate healthcare executive and leader of EHR operations and strategy, mainly EHR implementations and management. As Managing Director at ReMedi Health Solutions, GP helps healthcare leaders identify strategies that improve clinical workflows and EHR adoption for hospitals and physician groups. Throughout his career, GP has driven digital transformation for hospitals systems migrating from legacy EHR systems. GP oversees the ReMedi team managing end-to-end execution of positive EHR outcomes.
